L-O-V-E part 2

Cont…
Deep feelings can also develop among friends who perhaps share the same interests, or have similar philosophies in life.  This special friendship can live on for years even though they seldom see each other.  This is because I think they know that there is seldom see each other.  This is because they know that there is a bond that brings them together.  In this case, distance is not a factor for love to grow.

Then there is love between a teacher and a student.  This love is about respect and appreciation.  A student learns for knowledge and the teacher guides her student to realize his own great potential with patience and tolerance.  Then there is love for ALLAH.  Many people put their lives on this path.  In this case, love and path exist side by side.

Therefore, love is many things to many people and no matter how we perceive it, it exists everywhere in various forms or circumstances.  Through love, we understand what relationships are, what friendship mean, and what knowledge is.  Without love, we live an EMPTY life, without joy and contentment, and that is very sad indeed.

-THE END-

L-O-V-E

Wahhhh. This night I want to write about something which is extraordinary from me. Haha. Hazirah Hadey says about love?! Haha.

Can we define love?  I think that not easy because love means different things to different people right?
However, generally love is understood as having a deep affection for someone or something.  Let’s take a brief look at the various types of love.
There is the love between a man and a woman, which can culminate into legal bond called marriage. The love between husband and wife forms the foundation of their family where husbands and wife who love and respect each other carve that love into their children’s hearts.
For some mothers, her life is her children and it is this deep set feeling that carries them from day to day.  Who else can deny the how much sacrifice a mother does for the child whom she carries for nine months?  Tell me now.  A mother’s love is real and pure!!! There is no doubt that it is through the family that child learns his first lesson about love.

To be continue ….

SYA-ZIRA

Do you have a true best friend? I sure do. Syakira Riza is truly my best friend. She is always there for me. She knows everything about me; even my secrets. I can’t keep anything from her!  Haha.  She is the person who will help me when I am down, turn my frown upside-down, and make me feel better about myself. I can’t imagine any better of a friend. I love her more than anything and I would die for her. Syakira and I are always together; no matter where we are! We go to places like the mall and movies, to the climb mountain and lakes! Together we go most everywhere! A few days ago we got pose pictures together! We always go shopping together and we love shopping. We always help each other to pick out what and what not to buy. :) but, sometimes we are unstoppable!
We also help each other with assignment, and family and friends problems.  It’s hard to find a friend like her.  We have so many jokes that nobody would understand unless they were there, if they were just us!
I am so lucky to have her. It’s too hard to find a friend like her.  Without her I would not be as happy as I am now.
Dear ira, I love you so much.  I am so lucky to have you.  Take care yourself when someday when I’m not around you.  Don’t naughty, if you naughty2 I kenyet-kenyet you! Haha. I always pray for your happiness with irwan firman shah. Haha.  I assume you like part of my life and my own family!

i miss my schooldays :(

Haishhh ..
Sitting alone in the huge college university library trying hard to concentrate on my CTU assignment, my restless mind wanders back to those carefree days at school.  Honestly, not a day passes without me thinking of my school days.  It was such a lot of fun and laughter, and I miss it.
I really enjoyed all the activities in school.  In school, Syakira and I was a prefect (and you don’t get prefects on campus! Haha), and the guys I worked with were such a jolly a lot.  Many of evenings were spent on my field school.  No, I wasn’t a great sports girl.  Haha. I just enjoyed hanging out with my friends.  After we play netball, we would assemble at a mamak stall for the regular roti canai and teh tarik.  The annual concerts the upper from students organized were also great fun. The songs , sketches and fancy dress competitions.  Being rather outgoing, I participated in many of these items.
Another aspects of school life that I miss is the easy time we had in class. The teachers were relaxed, so one could get away with flimsy excuses when assignments were not completed on time.  There was always time for jokes and endless chat.  In school you know at least half of the students.  It is a good feeling to see familiar faces everywhere.  I miss that in campus as the enrolment here is close to thousand students.  Many of my classmates were from the same housing area, hence we went to school together.  Calling friends by their nicknames was part of school culture.  And we certainly had extraordinary talent for creating nicknames.
I miss my schooldays and I know those days cannot be relived.  All that I can do is to treasure those glorious memories.

could he really be so kind ?

My brother’s announcement surprised me.  Could he really be so kind?  I looked at him in total disbelief.  He actually told me that he was going to buy me a new laptop.  What more could I ask for?  Immediately I pictured myself with my laptop.
“Are you sure?  When are you going to get the money?” I asked, rather shocked at his unexpected generosity. I found it difficult to believe.  “Where did you get the money?”  I enquired again, as I could not imagine him saving saved enough to buy the laptop.
“Do you really want to know?” he asked, as if I should not have bothered with such trivial matters.  “Yes.” I answered. “Well I am using the money I got as bonus.  Does that satisfy your curiosity?”
“ Haaa ?You are buying me a bike with your bonus?  Why on earth are you doing that?”  I think he was quite hurt by my question.  The expression on his face indicated that.
“Why? What do you mean why?  I’m getting you a laptop because you are my sister.  Isn’t that a good reason?  And tell me, how many kid sister have I got?”  came his response.
This may sound overly sentimental, but trust me, his words almost brought tears to my eyes.  So this guy really had a soft spot for me.  I guess I was not aware of that part of him.
Isn’t it wonderful to have elder brothers?  Especially if they are the type generous enough to get you your dream laptop!

the wonderful thigs :)

Being tied to a coconut tree, climbing rambutan trees, helping mother in the kitchen, and laughing heartily with my family were just some of the wonderful things I remember about growing up.  My growing up years were often spent playing and exploring.  I remember being tied up round a coconut tree by my third brother every time he claimed that I had behaved badly.  He would stand on guard with a big stick in his land and every time I moved, he would shout, “A COCONUT IS FALLING ON YOUR HEAD”.  I believe him, so I stood still, frightened.  He would laugh loudly.   Once he left me tied like that for more than one hour and nobody was realized that I was missing. Hahaha.  My siblings were my playmates and our elders are the teachers.  Together, we played soldiers, police and thief, and hide and seek around our house.
Whilst we were playing and enjoying each other’s company, I used to wish that these moments would never end.  Then I grew up, and though I may not climb trees as fast as I could, or chase the cockerel round the house anymore, I would always remember the beautiful memories of my childhood days.  but most of all, it is the enduring bond of my siblings that will remain in my heart forever :D

swimming story (erkkk) :(

my greatest fear was water.  I have always wanted to learn how to swim but the water scared me.  When my father bought our first aquarium at home, I got very excited after seeing the little fishes swimming around the tank.  I thought to myself, how wonderful it was to be able to go underwater and see the wonderful things there.  So, I promised to myself that the next time the family goes to the beach, I would try to learn to swim, or at least jump in the water.
Then one day, I accompanied a friend to the public swimming pool.  I promised myself that I would at least get into the pool, but I changed my mind when I saw many people there, especially children.  I wished I could swim, but I was too afraid to try and too shy to learn.  Ira, my best friend, came out and jumped into the pool. She is a good swimmer.  She asked me to join her but I refused.  I paddled my leg in the water.
Then I felt someone pushing me and I fell into the water!

I screamed and panicked.  I struggled to breathe and tried to hold my head above the water.  I thought I was going to die.  Then I felt hand holding and pushing me up slowly. I felt pain in my chest.  Then I coughed the out the water and heard sounds of relief around me.  Ira hugged me closely and asked me if I was all right or not.   I had almost drowned.  It was traumatic yet at the same time exhilarating to know that I had survived.
After the incident, I enrolled in swimming classes and now I go swimming almost every each a month :D

encik ABDUL HADEY ..

There are eight of us in the family; my parents, my three elder brothers, my elder sister, me and my sister.  Each person is of course, interesting in his own way.  But if I have to write about one of them, its my father that I will choose. (my lovely abah :D)
My father’s name is Abdul Hadey.  He is 54 years old and his birthday on 8 February (same with my elder brother-Hafizi Hadey).  However, he does not look like his age.  Physically active, he could easily pass of someone his late forties.  Well-built with broad shoulders, and muscular arms and legs, he can be considered as good-looking.  In his younger days he was an active sportsman.

He is very particular about the way he dresses.  Though he does not go for expensive clothes, he always appears neat and well-dressed.  At home he will usually be in his sarong and t-shirt.

Being the eldest member of the family, he is looked up to by the rest of us.  Yet, unless asked for, he would refrain from offering advice.  Perhaps he feels that each individual should learn to lead his own life.  This is reason why he is so loved.
One of his favourite pastimes is discussing sports and politics with all my siblings.  As an ardent reader, he keeps himself well informed on current affairs.  Apart from reading, he likes watching TV, especially sports programmes which is football.
As he is quite free.. he makes it a point to help around the house.  My mother, a  housewife, does not drive, so the marketing is left to him.  Unlike some men, my daddy is very good at marketing.  I know this because my mother often compliments him.  When my sister and I want to go to the movies, it is my father who drives us to Cineplex.

I must admit that I am very fond of him.  He is soft spoken and very caring, especially to my younger sister.  In a way he can be described as a serious person as it is not his nature joke of fool around.  Sometimes I wished he would talk to us more freely, especially about his childhood days.  My mother tells me that he was a very devoted husband and father.
